Tags are used to define parts or elements in an InDesign file so that they can be identified later in printformer.
By additionally assigning attributes, further properties of the elements can be specified.
A Tag is a label of a dataset with additional information (identifies the respective content types or objects in your document).
Each tag can be assigned further properties (permitted attributes). These define, for example, which adjustments may be made to the element or how the element behaves in different scenarios.
For example, a text frame is tagged and defined as a headline; the user can later type in his headline accordingly in the printformer editor.
